Step one complete....Let's write some grants.
After 5 months of sacrifice, fundraising, dotting every I, crossing every T and jumping through 1,002 hoops, step one of our adoption journey is complete. Our home study was approved last week and we made our payment deadline one month ahead of schedule. Our agency sent us a new set of instructions of things that we need to do to for step two. When we got the new set of instructions it seemed like we would never get out of the form filling business. But luckily they also sent this brightly colored page. "Steps of the Adoption Process" A checklist of sorts that gives us hope that there is an end in sight. We just have to remember to.....
With a completed home study we can write some grants. Last night was one of our many grant writing sessions that are sure to come. We are praying that God will bless us with the ability to provide for our adoption. Please join us in prayer for our child and the process that will bring him home.
