Our Passion For Adoption
Caleb and I have always admired cultures around the world. We are particularly drawn to Hispanic cultures because Caleb is a Spanish teacher and I enjoy the music from Latin America. We have done mission work in Mexico, traveled to Nicaragua and Spain and hope to travel to many others in the years to come. We love many aspects of Hispanic culture; the love for family and community, service to others, food, music, art, dance, etc.
We have always been interested in adoption. After the trials of our first pregnancy and our love and passion for Latin America we gravitated to international adoption.
It's difficult for us to think about the underprivileged children in Latin America not receiving an education, going without clothing or shelter, sifting through trash for food and not having a Mommy or Daddy to love and care for them. We want to make sure there is one less orphan in this world and to give them a chance to be successful and have a life filled with love.
Over the last year, international adoption has constantly been on our minds and in our hearts. We feel God pushing us to love another child. We are excited about this journey and glad you a joining us for this adventure!
